Hey, does my throat look sore to you?

Pumba is one of three very large male cats currently available for adoption form the West Milford Animal Shelter. He weighs about 25 pounds. Pumba was released with another cat, named Timon, when their former owners were no longer able to care for them. Timon was lucky enough to have found a new home but Pumba is still waiting. Some people may think he is too big, but really he’s just a gentle giant. Pumba spends most of the day lying on a comfortable pillow in front of one of the windows. When people visit the cattery, he always greets them in a very quiet, gentle manner. When the cats are fed in the morning, some of them race to the dishes and try to push other cats out of their way. Pumba is not pushy and waits for a dish of food to be given to him. Despite his size, he is not a huge eater. He is just meant to be a large cat - not everyone can be a size 6. He is just a big bundle of love. Call or visit the West Milford Animal Shelter to see Pumba or one of the other cats looking for a permanent home.
