Highlanders journey to Parsippany in state playoffs

    West Milford has been seeded No. 6 and will journey to Morris County on Saturday to clash with the third-seeded Vikings of Parsippany Hills in the opening round of the NJSIAA North Jersey, Section 1, Group III football playoffs. Parsippany Hills won the Hills Division of the Iron Hills Conference with an 8-1 record. West Milford will enter the playoffs coming off a 35-7 loss to Passaic Tech on Friday evening in West Milford. R.J. Howell gave the home folks a moment of excitement in the third quarter when he located a seam in PCT’s defensive unit and raced 66 yards into the end zone. Paul Fogg booted the extra point but the Highlanders closed out the regular season with a 4-5 record.
