Hike for those with experience on October 9

    Test your endurance by taking this very strenuous, nine to 12-mile hike, depending on conditions. It is a classic Shawangunks hike from Coxing Kill to Awosting Falls via High Peters Kill Trail scheduled for Sunday, October 9 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Possible side trips to Lake Minnewaska, Bayards, and Trapps. You do not need to be a WWW Hiking Club member to attend these hikes, but card-carrying members get guaranteed admittance to the 12 monthly WWW hikes and two annual challenge hikes at a flat annual rate of $60. New WWW members are welcomed with a Weis Trail Map T-shirt and a WEC Pack Patch. The cost of Peters Kill/ Awosting Falls is $8 per person, with a $3 discount for members of the New Jersey Audubon Society.
