WARWICK Nicole Repose, owner of a unique gift shop in the Village of Warwick, believes that gifts, especially new baby gifts, should be special keepsakes. That’s one reason that for the next six months, her store, Etched in Time Engraving, Inc., located at 58 Main St., Warwick, will donate an engraved, silver-plated baby shoe to every family welcoming a new baby born at St. Anthony Community Hospital’s Kennedy Birthing Center. Each shoe will be engraved with the baby’s name, date and time of birth along with weight and length statistics. “It’s a special keepsake that the baby will never outgrow,” said Repose. Her Main St. shop, which has a well-deserved reputation for offering special engraved gifts that people are unlikely to find elsewhere, will also display other keepsake items at Kennedy Birthing Center including a personalized gift shadow box. The award-winning Kennedy Birthing Center is a state-of-the-art maternity unit, providing many innovative options and amenities. Approximately 600 babies are born each year at the facility, which combines modern technology with a comfortable, family oriented atmosphere. With beautifully decorated, single birthing suites, the Kennedy Birthing Center was built to cater to family needs, providing homelike surroundings for a more natural labor, delivery and recovery, all in one location, during a complication-free birth process. The Center also provides a C-Section Suite, a large, cheerful nursery and several gynecological rooms. “We are grateful to Nicole Repose and Etched in Time for this generous donation to our Kennedy Birthing Center,” said Leah Cerkvenik, executive vice president/administrator of the Bon Secours Warwick Health Care Campus. “This is another fine example of the generosity of and support we receive from our local business community.”
