West Milford - The township health department announces the last two dates for flu and pneumonia shots are Friday, Nov. 7 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace gym, 1911 Union Valley Road, in Hewitt; and Thursday, Nov. 20, 4 to 8 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, LaRue Road, in Newfoundland. Checks or money orders should be payable to West Milford Township Health Department. The flu fee is $12 and the pneumonia fee is $29. Residents with Medicare Part B as their primary insurance will be covered. If you have an HMO Insurance Care of any kind, contact your insurance company for them to assess your coverage with a township clinic as opposed to receiving your shot by your own physician.
