During the last week of October it was Red Ribbon Week at Marshall Hill School. Each day of the week held a different activity to encourage children to lead a drug free life. On Monday the theme was “Let’s Put a Cap on Drugs,” where the kids were allowed to wear their favorite hats to school. Tuesday’s theme of “Hugs not Drugs,” had the students each bringing in their favorite stuffed animal. Wednesday was “Red Ribbon Pledge Day,” when everyone wore red and took a pledge to stay drug free. On Thursday, the students wore crazy socks in observance of “Sock it to Drugs.” And finally, on Friday it was “Living a Drug Free Life is No Sweat!” when everyone including teachers, wore their sweats.
