WEST MILFORD — “Natural Horseman” Troy Roberto will conduct a special clinic at the Pine Ridge Equestrian Center at 40 Stephens Road, West Milford for horses and riders on Sunday, June 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A maximum of 12 horses and riders will be included in the session. Roberto, of West Milford, is a third generation cowboy, PRCA Champion Calf Roper, Dodge National Finalist, Horse Trainer, English and Western riding instructor, husband and father. He has excelled at many different facets of the horse industry and will share his knowledge and experience at the clinic, teaching simple pleasure riding, English and Western equitation, and calf and team roping. When it comes to training horses — whether starting young colts, working with problem horses or desensitizing spooky mounts — Roberto gets results by employing “natural horsemanship.” His experience and understanding of horse behavior enables him to consistantly meet his goals. His methods include being positive, having patience and building confidence. His charm and sense of humor help create a bond of trust between instructor and student. Spectators are welcome for a small auditing fee. Please call 973-728-0163 or go to www.pineridgequestriancenter.com to sign up or learn more about the clinic.
