In recognition of Veteran’s Day, United States Marine Corporal John Leiby presented a flag to Marshall Hill Elementary School. Leiby is a former Marshall Hill and West Milford High School student (class of 2006). Leiby's younger brother, Jimmy Leiby, currently attends Marshall Hill School. Leiby, pictured here, left, with his brother, sixth grade teacher Sandy Hefferon and Principal Michael McCormick, spoke to the sixth grade students about his experience in the Marines and his service to our country. It was truly an honor to pay tribute to a local marine. Everyone at Marshall Hill School extends their sincere thanks to Leiby and all who serve and protect our country.
