NEWFOUNDLAND How about a pint for a pint? The satisfaction one gets after donating blood is enough enticement for giving the gift of life. The Dairy Queen in Newfoundland is upping that ante, offering a pint of soft serve ice cream to those who donate a pint of blood on Friday, June 8 from 4 to 8 p.m. The Blood Center of New Jersey Bloodmobile will be in the Dairy Queen parking lot, located at 2648 Route 23 North, ready to collect. All donors must present signed or picture identification and should eat a meal before donating.
