West Milford Lions Bob Moore, past international director, and Lou Corsaro, past president, presented Diane Eriksen with the Melvin Jones Fellow Award. This award is for her dedication to humanitarian services as the Lions' eyeglass recycling coordinator. Eriksen has recycled many hundreds of glasses after collecting, sterilizing, and packaging each pair. The glasses are sent to the Lions recycling centers to provide sight for those in need worldwide.
