WEST MILFORD – Some 190 Suez Water customers still should boil their water following a water main break repair there Tuesday.
A water main broke near the intersection of Long Pond and Lake roads in Awosting Tuesday.
Crews from Suez were able to repair and flush the line, a company spokesman said, but the water may still be discolored and should be boiled.
According to the company, which bought the system from the now defunct MUA in December, samples are being tested and the boil warning may be lifted later Thursday.
The company estimated the break impacted about 190 customers in that part of the township.
