Boy Scout Sunday was celebrated with a Mass at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Hewitt on Feb. 2. Father Michael Rodak, Deacon Dave Cedrone and Cubmaster Dan Butcher presented the Light of Christ award to Daniel Benedetto and Christopher Sierra. The Parvuli Dei award was presented to Alexander Saller, Timothy Butcher, Joshua Conners and Stephen Jordan. These Scouts are from Pack 159. Also recognized at this Mass were the Boy Scouts from Troop 159 who earned the Ad Altare Dei award that will be presented to them later this month by Bishop Serratelli. They are Alex Benedetto, Andrew Holm and Shane Lucas. Congratulations to all the boys!
