Join the Cub Scouts from Pack 139 on Wednesday, Sept. 12, for their Scout Olympics and recruitment meeting. It happens at 6:30 p.m. in the Apshawa Elementary School All Purpose Room. The boys, in grades 1 through 5, hike and go on trips each month. They also make an impact on the community with their volunteer work, including a community leaf raking event, caroling at Milford Manor, food drives and helping to beautify the township to name a few. Bring the entire family for the family Olympic events and games Sept. 12, as well as information on the upcoming cub scouting year. Apshawa Elementary School is located on Highcrest Drive.
