Anthony would rather spend his day helping animals in need rather than playing video games. Anthony, 11, of Hewitt, recently volunteered his time at an adoption day for Victory Animal Rescue of Vernon, held at Horticulture Nursery in Ramsey. He painted more than 80 suncatchers to raise money for the organization. When people made a donation they received a suncatcher, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the rescue. Over the summer he raised $20.00 by selling his suncatchers to friends & family & was able to present the owner of Victory Rescue, Donna Sweet, with a large bag of dog food for her organization.
