Saturday, July 6 - West Point Band’s “Music Under the Stars” concert series begins with the band’s Independence Day Celebration at Trophy Point Amphitheater at 7:30 p.m. Fireworks to follow. (Rain date July 7, 7:30 p.m.) Free of charge. Vehicle and photo identification (for guests 16 and older) required. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Saturday, July 6 - Firecracker Festival at Monroe-Woodbury Middle School. 5K run/walk at 8:30 a.m., followed by a street fair at 11 a.m. and car show at 12 p.m. Music, vendors, crafts and children’s activities will take place until 4 p.m. Firecrackers at dusk.
