Activities include Chili Cook Off; Car, Truck and Bike Show; Children’s Poster Exhibit; Tree Dedication; Kid’s Hero Hut; vendors and music. All proceeds to benefit VALOR Clinic Foundation.

    Saturday, July 6 - Sunday, July 7 - Great American Weekend in Village Square. Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Rides, antiques, vendors, food and entertainment.     West Point
    Saturday, July 6 - West Point Band’s “Music Under the Stars” concert series begins with the band’s Independence Day Celebration at Trophy Point Amphitheater at 7:30 p.m. Fireworks to follow. (Rain date July 7, 7:30 p.m.) Free of charge. Vehicle and photo identification (for guests 16 and older) required. Children must be accompanied by an adult.     Saturday, July 6 - Firecracker Festival at Monroe-Woodbury Middle School. 5K run/walk at 8:30 a.m., followed by a street fair at 11 a.m. and car show at 12 p.m. Music, vendors, crafts and children’s activities will take place until 4 p.m. Firecrackers at dusk.     Friday, July 5 - Fireworks at the Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club, 9:15 p.m. Visible from around the area. (Rain date July 7)

    Saturday, July 6 - Annual Fireworks Fundraiser at Lounsberry Hollow Middle School. Food, entertainment and DJ provided. Gates open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $15 per family or group of four people. Fireworks display sponsored by the Vernon Township and Highland Lakes Fire Departments. (Rain date July 7 or next clear night)
