The boats themselves made for a great sight, with their lights glistening and reflecting on the water. The almost full moon was the perfect backdrop for the fireworks. WEST MILFORD — On a beautiful summer night, West Milford celebrated the 236th birthday of our country. Boats filled Upper Greenwood Lake because there's no better place to see the fireworks than from there. As night fell, the dark sky lit up with beautiful bursts of color.
