Each year, the American Heart Association (AHA) hosts its “Heart Walk” and 5K run fundraiser in various locations around the country. The organization’s Morris County chapter held its 2013 event on Oct. 13 at the Mack-Cali business center in Parsippany. A total of 130 Chilton employees and their guests formed 11 teams, raising more than $10,000 for the AHA. The total is almost a 40 percent increase over last year’s donations. A portion of this year’s donations came from the hospital’s internal fundraisers held prior to the Heart Walk, including a bake sale, basket raffle and jeans day.
