Chilton Hospital offers free Brain Health Fair

POMPTON PLAINS — Chilton Hospital’s Community Outreach Department offers “Use It or Lose It: Brain Health Fair” on Thursday, June 14, from 1 to 4 p.m., at Cedar Crest Village, Woodland Commons Building, 1 Cedar Crest Drive, Pompton Plains.

Admission is free for the event, which explores many exciting and fun ways that attendees can rev up their recall and boost brain power. The Brain Health Fair features Dr. Cynthia Green, psychologist and leading expert on brain health who has developed her own unique “Total Brain Health” program. She has been featured on Good Day America and CNBC, and in Prevention magazine and The New York Times.

Breakout sessions include: juggling, cartooning, brain games, aromatherapy, yoga, conductorsize, blood pressure screenings, medication interactions and stroke information.

A nutrition table with brain-healthy treats will also be available. Door prizes include a $100 gift certificate to ShopRite. The program is sponsored, in part, by the Wayne Alliance for the Prevention of Drug and Alcohol Abuse.
