POMPTON PLAINS Chilton Hospital is hosting its 2012 Golf Classic on Monday, June 11, at the Preakness Hills Country Club, Wayne.
It's a full day of events, from a 7:30 a.m. or 1 p.m. tee off, to breakfast, luncheon, dinner, cocktail reception and awards ceremony. There will be a silent auction with donations advertised on TVs throughout the evening. There is also a cash raffle.
Chilton Hospital features some of the most sophisticated diagnostic and therapeutic equipment available. Community support has allowed the hospital to complete the following projects:
An Orthopedic Unit, The Total Joint Center, with 24 private rooms
A new expanded Cardio Vascular Interventional Lab
The Comprehensive Breast Center renovation and expansion
Computerized physician order entry to eliminate chances of illegible handwriting
One of the ways the hospital can continue its level of care is through fundraising events, such as this. Last year, over 300 people attended this golfing event, including attendees from the corporate and business sectors, physicians, and individuals.
