POMPTON PLAINS — Stephanie Bloom, FACHE, MA, has been named president of Chilton Medical Center, and vice president, Atlantic Health System.
Bloom brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, specifically in community hospital operations and management, to her role at Chilton Medical Center. She recently served as president and CEO of Community Medical Center, a 592-bed hospital within Barnabas Health System, located in Toms River. “We are very pleased to have a hospital executive of Stephanie’s stature and experience at the helm of Chilton Medical Center,” said Brian Gragnolati, president and CEO, Atlantic Health System. “Stephanie is a strong leader and patient champion who will help Chilton Medical Center further elevate its scope and breadth of high quality services to the communities it serves, while expanding access to Atlantic Health System’s Trusted Network of Caring. In the short time I have gotten to know her and time spent walking around Chilton with her, I am encouraged by Stephanie's passion for and connection to our staff, patients and community.”
Bloom also served as chief operating officer and senior vice president of Southern Ocean County Hospital, a 142-bed community hospital in Manahawkin.
“The opportunity to lead Chilton Medical Center is a wonderful privilege,” said Bloom. “Our hospital has a rich tradition of delivering quality and compassionate care. Our management team is experienced, our caregivers and physicians are skilled and our affiliation with Atlantic Health System brings unprecedented access to world-class care directly to our community. All of these factors give me confidence that our future is bright and that our continued success will only benefit the families who rely on us for hope and healing.”
Bloom received a master’s degree in health services administration from The George Washington University, completed an administrative residency at Greater Baltimore Medical Center and earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland.
