POMPTON PLAINS — Chilton Hospital will host a free men’s health screening on Thursday, Sept. 20, from 1 to 3 p.m., at Spa 23 Health and Racquet Club, 381 Route 23 South, Pompton Plains.

The screening includes a blood pressure check, PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) test and an exam by a Chilton Hospital urologist.

According to the American Cancer Society, men with average risk should get screened starting at age 50. For those who are at high risk, screening should begin sooner.

Appointments are required. For more information or to make an appointment, call 973-831-5475. The free men’s health screening is a program of Chilton Hospital’s Community Outreach Department. For more information about Community Outreach programs, visit www.chiltonhealth.org/community-outreach.
