Coats, hats, gloves distributed to those in need Saturday

West Milford is a giving community. Since Oct. 1, neighbors have been donating new and gently used coats, as well as hats, mittens, gloves, scarves, boots, toys and food for those in need in the local community.
On Saturday, Nov. 19, between 12 and 3 p.m. at the West Milford Presbyterian Church, the warm clothes will be distributed.
For those who have more to donate, call Chuck Enering at 973-767-7933 or Mike Ramaglia at 201-697-7699. Turkeys are also accepted.
Last year the group collected more than 1,000 coats and they expect the need to be greater this year.
Enering and Ramaglia partnered with the American Legion, Jewelry Repair Center, Jimmy Geez North, Upper Greenwood Lake Clubhouse, West Milford Florist, West Milford Lions and the Presbyterian Church, which served as drop off locations for the clothes and food.
Now it's time to distribute to those who need help. Come to the West Milford Presbyterian Church, 1452 Union Valley Road, on Saturday afternoon.
