County offers free business seminar

    WAYNE— A free seminar for business owners titled “Unique Procurement Techniques – Selling your Goods and Service to Federal, State and Local Government” will be held 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 28.

    The business forum is will be held at William Paterson University, 1600 Valley Road, Wayne.

    The seminar is sponsored by Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders and Passaic County Planning and Economic Development Department. Passaic County Freeholder Theodore Best will welcome the participants.

    Stephanie D. Burroughs, director of Procurement Programs at NJ Small Business Development Centers, will discuss the procurement process.

    Robert Beauregard, assistant director of the Division of Purchase and Property of NJ Department of Treasury, and Lirse Jones, director of Purchasing for William Paterson University, will present information on how to produce a winning proposal.
