Cub Scout Pack 159, from Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Hewitt, spent a week at Camp Lewis in Rockaway this summer. They learned many scouting skills and got to make new friends. This year's theme was the London 2012 Olympics, so in addition to the traditional scouting events like Map and Compass, Wildlife Conservation and Forestry, they competed in soccer, ultimate Frisbee, BB shooting, archery and swimming. The Cub Scout Olympians representing Pack 159 are Daniel Benedetto, Michael Brigante, Timothy Butcher, Zachery Rodek, Gavin Lucas, Gianni Gomez, Sean Rodriquez, Jessica Brigante, Bryan Szolusha and Austin Baird. The leaders are Lee Szolusha, Danny Baird, Assistant Cubmaster Michael Benedetto, Cubmaster Dan Butcher, Black Hawk Patrol Webelos Leader Steve Rodriquez, Mike Brigante, Rich Rodek and Karen Lucas.
