Wolf Scouts from Cub Scout Pack 159, sponsored by Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Hewitt, participated in a Scavenger Hunt Hike in Ramapo Mountain State Forest. The scouts completed requirements for their Hiking and Map and Compass belt loops as well as their Cub Scout World Conservation Awards. The highlight of the 3.5-mile hike was the Van Slyke Castle ruins, which include the main dwelling, a water tower (pictured), and swimming pool. New members are always welcome to this scouting group. Boys in grades 1 through 5 are welcome to join the pack! Contact Cubmaster Dan Butcher atcubmaster@OLQPTroopandPack159.org for more information.
