Each month, the West Milford Rotary selects its Rotarian of the Month. This month, it was Karen Sabyan. As is the custom, Sabyan got to invite a guest speaker. She chose Nancy Margarum who talked about Cycle for Survival, a fundraising program that has over 10,000 cyclers across the country raising over $24 million supporting research on rare cancers. Margarum and her team have raised and contributed over $45,000 to Sloan Kettering in New York City in the name of a good friend who is battling a rare form of endocrine cancer. The Rotary in turn made a donation to Cycle for Survival. Shown here is Sabyan, Margarum and Rotary President Scott Rothstein. The West Milford Rotary Club meets each Tuesday at noon at the Passport Café, located in the Greenwood Lake Airport. For further information or to attend a meeting, call Scott Rothstein at 201-230-1341.
