Dictionaries for the students

Third grade students at Westbrook School recently received their own personal dictionaries given to them by the West Milford Rotary Club. For the past eight years, the Rotary Club has donated about 2,700 dictionaries district wide. Rotary members Eric Kerssen, Joann TenHoeve, Lynne Bennett and Robert Jones, presented the dictionaries to the students during an assembly. The students learned about the origin, purpose and charitable works of the Rotary Club. They also spent some time learning how to use their new dictionaries and looking up words. The students were very excited by the Rotary Club’s generous donation.
