WEST MILFORD — The school board made appointments before the start of the 2012-2013 school year.
Eric Siegal was named supervisor of science K-12, for the district at the prorated salary of $90,000, with health benefits. Siegal replaces Pat Codey who retired this year.
A new position, systems operation manager, was filled with the appointment of Bebarce El-Tayib at the prorated salary of $92,000 with health benefits.
The board also approved an additional assignment for Timothy Gillen, who is currently the district's athletic director. Gillen will receive a stipend of $10,000 as supervisor of physical education/health/drivers education, for grades 7 through 12, effective Sept. 1, 2012. The additional assignment absorbs some of the responsibilities of Assistant Principal Peter Anzelone, who retired.
Doreen Elborj was named to Anzelone's former position as assistant principal at the prorated salary of $100,000 with health benefits.
All appointments were effective Aug. 29, 2012, through June 30, 2013.
