WEST MILFORD — The night was beautiful and the music was even better when Streets of the Bronx entertained hundreds at Bubbling Springs July 24. Part of the Community Services and Recreation summer Concerts Under the Stars, the doo-wop group, which performs music from the 50s and 60s, had many in the crowd up and dancing throughout the evening.

By all accounts, a good time was had by all.

Next up is Parrot Beach with an Island Beach Party tribute to Jimmy Buffett on Tuesday, Aug. 14, the final concert of the summer. You are sure to sing along with all of Buffett's most popular songs. And be sure to bring your dancing shoes too. The concert starts at 7:15 p.m. and the concession stand will be open.

The summer concert series is sponsored by Community Services and Recreation and is partially funded by the Passaic County Cultural and Heritage Council at Passaic County Community College. Local sponsors were Inserra Supermarkets-ShopRite of West Milford, Claude of Sound on the Run, Lakeland Bank, Jewelry Repair Center and the DeGraaf family.
