Cub Scouts from Troop 51 out of Paradise Knoll School earned their communication badges after learning about newspapers. The boys learned how news comes into the Messenger office and how they can help by letting reporters and editors know when something newsworthy is happening at their school, with their scouting group and sports teams. It was a wonderful experience for the kids and their parents. We are building a whole new generation of newspaper readers.
