West Milford. On Wednesday Nov. 13, at 6:30 p.m. at the West Milford Library, attorney Robert L. Moshman will give a presentation on estate planning that will cover general topics of why you need a will, how probate works, what an executor does, and how estates are taxed, along with the main topic of how to best provide for pets after an owner’s death using bequests and trusts.

Celebrity estates such as those of Leona Helmsley who left $12 million to her Maltese named “Trouble,” or Gail Posner who left $3 million and a mansion to “Conchita” the chihuahua, will be scrutinized.
