Everything's coming up purple for MACC

On Nov. 27, the Make a Change Club (MACC) worked to promote pancreatic cancer awareness by having a purple day, in which students and staff wore purple. The seventh and eighth grade homerooms wearing the most purple was rewarded with a bagel breakfast on the MACC and teacher Dawn Magie, since this organization is very special to her. The club also sold purple turkey visors to raise more money to donate. The Make A Change Club held a purple bake sale and raised more than $120; they raised more than $150 from the turkey visor sale. They will be donating the money for pancreatic cancer research.
