Firefighters from Company 2 demonstrated a car extrication for those who came out to their open house last Saturday.
Sometimes the only way to reach someone is through the top.
The volunteers are often first on the scene of accidents and perform life-saving measures on victims.
Community #2 members include Matt Rose, Matt Windfield, Josh Yacco, Bob Cstro, Rob Masterseon Rich Poplaski, Sue Pappas, Scott Lever and Jim Rose.

NEWFOUNDLAND — Fire Company #2 on Route 23 in Newfoundland welcomed the community last Saturday at its open house. The firefighters demonstrated the jobs they frequently perform, including a vehicle extrication, rescuing someone from a smoke house and putting out a grease fire.
The members explained the duties and responsibilities of a volunteer firefighter and hoped they would interest some residents to volunteer alongside them.
