WEST MILFORD Five residents will be vying for the three trustee seats available in the April 17 school board election. The five candidates running for the board are John Aiello, Greg Bailey, Kevin Babbitt, Inga Koeppe and Adrienne Shanler. Aiello and Bailey are incumbents.
One incumbent, Barbara Carter, has chosen not to seek reelection. Carter told The Messenger she decided not to run again because she frustrated that the school board "refuses to do anything about the reading scores" in the district.
Carter has served one three-year term on the school board.
