HEWITT — Gloria Wagner of North Shore Financial Group, an office of MetLife and a part of the MetLife Premier Client Group, was recently awarded one of the financial services industry’s premier professional credentials, the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designation from The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
The ChFC® program gives financial services professionals in-depth knowledge and skills to assist individuals, professionals and small business owners with their financial needs. The program provides financial professionals with comprehensive coverage of the key financial planning disciplines, including insurance, retirement planning, investments and estate planning. To earn the ChFC® designation, Wagner passed the required courses for the program, met the specified experience level and ethical standards, and agreed to comply with The American College Code of Ethics and Procedures.
In addition to being a ChFC, Wagner is a Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow and is certified in Long Term Care. She is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and the Asperger's Syndrome and High Functioning Autism Association She has been a Special Needs Planner with the MetLife Center for Special Needs Planning since June 2006, and has worked in the financial services industry for more than 13 years.
As a resident of West Milford, Wagner volunteers at West Milford Animal Shelter and Our Lady Queen of Peace Church.
