After years of cancellations because of inclement weather, the annual Halloween parade has returned to the Upper Greenwood Lake School with exuberance. The half mile parade route through the school's parking lot was highlighted by the appearance of Ghostbusters, Minions, and a flash mob Thriller performance from the third grade. The Halloween Blizzard of 2011 and last year's Sandy have left bitter memories of Halloween for many students and families in the community. This year's joy and excitement underscored the powerful feeling of a "return to normalcy" for the students and families. Happy Halloween from the students and staff of the Upper Greenwood Lake School and the UGL PTA.
