IN SEARCH OF BIGFOOT

| 29 May 2012 | 01:39

Cub Scouts from Pack 159 in Hewitt hiked 2.5 miles along the Governor Mountain Trail in Ringwood recently. This trail has fantastic views of the Wanaque Reservoir that they used as a background for their group picture. In addition to hiking and finding Geocaches, the Cub Scouts were on the hunt for the elusive Bigfoot which, according to the kids from Marshall Hill School, was in the area. Armed with these facts and the unbridled energy of youth, they spent the afternoon searching for the creature, only finding some broken branches, a few hairs and this footprint. Foiled again, the scouts will have to try another day.
