Lakeland Bank honors 10-year employees

Lakeland Bank recently recognized seven associates for their 10 years of service to the company at a ceremony held at the Bank’s corporate office.

Mary Beth Carney, Judy Forrester, Joseph Kapraszewski, Donna Orta, Kenneth Partyka, Debra Reade and Jennifer Sparnon all reached this significant milestone.

“It is a pleasure to reward our colleagues for their 10 years of service to the bank," said Thomas J. Shara, president and chief executive officer of Lakeland Bank. "Their long-term commitment to Lakeland Bank and our customers is an accomplishment that deserves recognition."

Joseph Kapraszewski is a collection bankruptcy liasion in credit administration working in Oak Ridge. He began his career with the ank in 2003 as a collection clerk advancing to his current position. He received his bachelor’s degree in communications from Bryant College in 2002 and his paralegal Studies Certificate from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Kapraszewski is a resident of West Milford.

Dopnna Orta is a returned mail clerk in Deposit Operations in the Milton Branch. She joined the bank in 2003 as a part-time switchboard operator and advanced to her current position. Orta received the Lakeland Bank Employee of the Quarter Award in 2010. She has been a team captain for both the Susan G. Koman NY & NJ Race for the Cure and Saint Clare’s Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness. Orta resides in Oak Ridge.

Jennifer Sparnon is an assistant treasurer and Branch Operations Manager in Andover. She joined the Bank in 2003 as a teller at the Pompton Plains Office. She transferred in 2004 to teller manager at the Wyckoff Office, was promoted in 2007 to customer service representative and again in 2008 to assistant branch manager. In March 2013, she was promoted to assistant treasurer, branch operations manager and in November transferred to Andover. Sparnon volunteers for Angels of Hope Organization, and is a resident of Pompton Plains.
