The newest farmers market in Orange County will begin a weekly appearance each Saturday from Sept. 11 through Oct. 30, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Thomas P. Morahan Waterfront Park beach of Greenwood Lake.
“In addition to the offerings of our vendors, we will be coordinating special events, entertainment, demonstrations and other activities along with a coordinated social media and print marketing campaign to draw customers to the market,” Market Manager Karen Wintrow said. “With the unique location on our beautiful lake, we are expecting a robust market that will prove of great value to local residents as well as the vendors and non-profits participating each week.
Among the vendors participating at the Lakeside Farmers Market are the following:
High Bridge Farm, from Greenville in New York, will be bringing pastured pork and grass-fed beef.
Cohen Acres, LLC, making a special appearance at opening day with its signature Challamin Buns.
Campanelli’s Poultry Farm, bringing eggs, chicken, flavored chicken sausages, and more.
J&A Farm produce farm from the Black Dirt region.
Locally prominent Greenwood Lake Bagels & Bakery.
Greenwood Lake’s award-winning Jean-Claude’s Patisserie & Dessert Café.
