Library receives "Jersey Women Mean Business" book
WEST MILFORD — The West Milford Township Library added two copies of the award-winning business book "Jersey Women Mean Business! Big Bold Business Advice from New Jersey Women Business Owners: Practical Pointers, Solutions, and Strategies for Business Success" to its collection.
Donated by West Milford residents Joyce Restaino and Maria-Elena Grant, the book features the expertise and insight of 72 New Jersey women business owners. Restaino, whose company "Grow Your Business Write" offers writing and editing services, is also the book’s editor and wrote chapter 15: “Five Big Email Business Busters: Are Your Messages DOA (Deleted on Arrival)?” Grant, who owns Awesome Rooms, a company that offers decorating and organizing services for homeowners and businesses, wrote chapter 65: “Buried by Your Business? An Organized Office Keeps You on Top.”
“Most readers know to turn to their library when looking for the newest book releases or recommendations for new authors,” said Debbie Maynard, West Milford Township Library director. “But not all readers know that their local library is a source for local authors. The West Milford Township Library is fortunate to have several books in the collection donated by local authors, and we are pleased to have two copies of "Jersey Women Mean Business! Big Bold Business Advice from New Jersey Women Business Owners" in our collection.”
