The Lions organization is very active in the West Milford community. One of their biggest fundraisers is the Broadway in the Highlands variety show held each spring. The group provides three scholarships annually, cellular phone to senior citizens for 911 calls, free eye examinations and glasses for needy school children and senior citizens in our town, food baskets at Thanksgiving and Easter to needy families, and supports the New Jersey Camp For Blind Children, Camp Marcella.
