WEST MILFORD — The students of Macopin Middle School performed their Winter Choral Concert on Dec. 13, with performances by both the seventh and eighth grade bands and choruses.
The Seventh Grade Chorus sang renditions of “Welcome Yule,” “Rock Around the Jingle Bells," “Celebrate the Feast of Lights,” “Gloria Deo,” and concluded with a lively and fun performance of “Sparklejollytwinklejingley,” complete with choreographed dancing, two kick lines and kazoos. The Seventh Grade Chorus is directed by Susan Kaczor.
The Eighth Grade Chorus, directed by Doug Heyburn, melodically presented their versions of “Sing We Now of Christmas,” “Christmas Fanfare,” the jazzy “’Zat You Santa Claus?” “Kyrie Canon,” and “A Song of Santa Holiday Mash Up."
Both groups combined harmoniously for the grand finale, “Carol of the Bells.”
