Making a friend for life at the animal shelter

WEST MILFORD - There is a section of the West Milford Animal Shelter that is a free roaming area for cats and is called "The Library".
It is the area for quiet, very shy, older cats and for cats that may need some recovery time.
Until recently the two residents of the library were Disco and Jake and they became best buds from the moment they met.
Recently Jake had to go to the vet for dental surgery.
His recovery was slow so he was kept in a cage.
Disco was fine for a week but by the second week he sank into a depression.
Earlier this week Jake returned to the library and Disco was overjoyed.
There is a video of the reunion on facebook/The Real Cats at WMASS.
So now these two buds are looking a new home together.
The shelter is located on Lycosky Drive (behind recycling), (973) 728-2859 and facebook/The West Milford Animal Shelter.
