West Milford council candidate Jim Foody hosted more than 50 residents throughout the day last Saturday at his meet and greet barbecue at Westbrook Park. Foody, a current school board trustee who is running on the Democratic ticket for a council seat, talked with each of the residents about town issues. Several members of the council were present, including Ada Erik, CarlLa Horton, Mike Hensley, Mayor Bettina Bieri and Republican council candidate Michele Dale. Foody and Dave Ofshinsky are facing Councilman Lou Signorino and Dale for the two, three-year term seats on Nov. 5.
