Marshall Hill sixth grader Ben Butcher won his school’s Geography Bee and earned a spot to compete in the upcoming West Milford District Geography Bee. But then he went one step further. Butcher also qualified to compete in the state Geography Bee to be held at Rowan University on March 30. Butcher took the National Geographic test, consisting of approximately 50 multiple choice questions, and scored among the best in the state, qualifying him to compete in the state competition. Congratulations to Ben! We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for you on March 30.
