Nebibi only has eyes for a comfy home

"What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet."

This is one of the most well know quotes from William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Juliet is not allowed to associate with Romeo because of a blood feud between their families. If he had any other name it would be fine. She’s complaining that his name is meaningless. It doesn't make him who he is. It is just a name.

That is not the case for a cat newly up for adoption at the West Milford Animal Shelter. Nebibi (Ne-bi-bi) is his name. He is a stunning black cat with copper colored eyes.

Nebibi is an Egyptian name for a boy meaning panther. Unlike panthers in the wild who like solitude, Nebibi is very friendly and extremely affectionate. He does not want to live in a jungle. He would be more comfortable in a cozy and loving home with people he could love and enjoy spending time with.

Nebibi is approximately five years old, is neutered, had been test for FIV and Feline Leukemia (negative) and is up-to-date with inoculations. Come walk on the wild side and come meet this exotic beauty at the shelter, located on Lycosky Drive (behind recycling).
