WEST MILFORD - Mayor Michele Dale presided over the Grand Reopening of North Jersey Guitar & Music Center at its new location on Dec. 2.
According to Owner Shawn Reams, the event was a huge success, starting off with a ribbon cutting and some kind words from Mayor Dale.
Reams said throughout the day, dozens of patrons, students of the school, and families explored and enjoyed the beautiful new facility located on Union Valley Road.
“Today is a very special day for us. To see so much love and support from this wonderful community is overwhelming. We couldn’t be happier in this new location," Reams said. "Heading into our 15th year in business, I can’t think of a better way to celebrate. We wanted a spacious, comfortable, relaxing environment for our students and customers and we were able to achieve just that. Since we offer lessons for guitar, piano, drums, voice, and many other instruments it was important to have plenty of fully equipped, state-of-the-art lesson studios to satisfy our needs. Today, as I look around, I’m overjoyed that our new facility will be able to accommodate the growing musical ambitions of our rapidly expanding body of students. We want this to be a place where our students can thrive and truly enjoy all the amazing benefits music has to offer. We also want this to be a cultural hub for our community so we look forward to hosting lots of events, workshops, and live music in the future. In fact we have a performer coming from Nashville to kick off our Live Music Series on Dec. 16. Emma Brooke is a West Milford native and has been living and performing in Nashville since 2014.”
