WEST MILFORD — George Athansios, DDS, of Apollonia Dental on Macopin Road, has got something to smile about. He was named one of New Jersey's top dentists by New Jersey Monthly in the very first year of his eligibility.
Athansios is an expert in implant care and has devoted countless hours to continuing education. He is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) and American Dental Implant Association (FADIA) and associate fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (FAAID).
Athansios said he is gratified to be selected as a New Jersey Monthly top dentist. Committed to service, Athansios has journeyed to Africa and South America to provide dental treatment to people in need. A University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey graduate, he serves as his class delegate to the Dental Alumni Association.
