Parishioners celebrate St. Joseph's 250th anniversary with a picnic

Lunch was served under the tents to about 200 parishioners of St. Joseph Church.
Who says games are just for kids? A game of water balloon toss was fun for all ages.
The kids enjoyed the games too.
The home made desserts table was a popular stop.
The Knights of Columbus manned the grills and kept the hot dogs and burgers coming full speed ahead. Mike Heller-Guidice, pictured here, gets those cheeseburgers ready.
WEST MILFORD — The 250th anniversary celebration continues at St. Joseph parish. In September, the church held its parish picnic. Knights of Columbus members manned the grills and kept the dogs and burgers coming. Families brought side dishes and desserts, and the tables were filled to capacity with delicious picnic foods.
About 200 parishioners came out for the picnic. They played games, socialized and, of course, ate heartily on the beautiful late summer day.
This is one of many activities throughout the 250th anniversary year of celebration for the parish.
