WEST MILFORD Rain or shine, Yankee hero Bucky Dent will be in West Milford Thursday night to officially open the Little League season. If the rain holds off, Dent will throw out the ceremonial first pitch and take photos with fans at the field behind Hillcrest Community Center. If the rain comes, Dent will still meet and take photos with fans inside the center. Either way, fans will get to meet Bucky.
Festivities start at 6:30 p.m. Overflow parking will be at the PAL Building, which is located at the intersection of Ridge Road and Cahill Cross Road behind Lake Melody, with shuttle bus service to Hillcrest.
